You're in business and you have a Smart Phone, then you probably ought to be taking advantage of apps that will help you to run your business more efficiently.  An "app" is simply a little, self-contained program that can be used on your Smart Phone. Radio shows, television hosts, gamers and businesses are just a few that effectively use these apps.

Today on the Top 5 at 7:45, I'll highlight some of apps that businesses are using to help run more efficiently and effectively. See what you think and see what works for you.

  1. The Evernote App - Here's an app that will help you with all of your note taking. You can either speak into it, write on it or doodle with it. It also helps you to organize your notes as well.
  2. Moleskine Journal - This will allow you to add photos to your notes and store them in a data base. They will even make it to where you can search for them and easily find them.
  3. Gmails In-Box - You can add merge emails with a to-do-list, thus making it easier to incorporate your schedule with other events in your life. These appointments will "pop-up" within a certain time of you getting there. Something you can set in advance.
  4. Dropbox - If you or other authorized employees need access to files on the go, Dropbox is the app to download and have handy on your phone.
  5. DocuSign - If you have to sign documents regularly, then the Docu Sign app will allow you to do that in a paperless way. You don't need a pen, nor a scanner to get your documents signed and sent off.

There are many other apps that may help you with your business. Apps such as: HipChat, Expensify, and Camcard. Whatever you business, we hope that some of these apps will make your life easier.
