
High Wind Watch For SE Wyoming Sunday, 70 MPH Winds Possible
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has posted a High Wind Watch for southeast Wyoming on Sunday into Monday, with winds gusting up to 70 miles per hour possible.
The watch area includes both Cheyenne and Laramie.
The agency posted the following on it's website: A High Wind Watch is in effect from midnight tonight to 6 PM Monday for wind prone locations like Arlington, Bordeaux, the I-80 Summit and foothills, and from 6 AM Sunday to midnight Sunday night for the I-25 and I-80 corridors. Expect west winds 30 to 45 mph with gusts of 65 to 70 mph possible. Strong cross winds will be hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including campers and tractor trailers.

There is a slight chance (15-25%) for snow across western portions of the region, with better chances in the mountains (35-50%). Sunday will be warm, dry, and windy as high winds return.
