The Laramie Volunteer Fire Department Station #4 was heavily involved in the recent Badger Creek Fires, East of Laramie Wyoming.

While much of the funding for the little station comes from government, it does now cover all the of cost of operations.

Recently, money was spent on a new radio system so, when the fires spread over a large area, the many small fire stations up in those mountains can talk to each other.

As always this years fundraiser comes with a party and a chili cook off. There will even be live music and plenty for the kids to do.

The 14th annual fundraiser for the Laramie Volunteer Fire Department station #4 happens Saturday August 11th.  The fire station is located at 3987 State Highway 230, Laramie Wy, 82007.
