Hail, 60 MPH Winds, Heavy Rain Possible IN SE Wyoming
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about the possibility of strong to severe thunderstorms in southeast Wyoming today.
The storms could include large hail, strong winds, and heavy rainfall. A tornado cannot be ruled out.
The agency posted the following on its website:
- Scattered storms are expected to develop along the Laramie Range around midday increasing in coverage and intensity farther east through early this evening. Hail, strong winds, and heavy rainfall are the main hazards with the timing for strongest storms between 1pm and 7pm.
