Cheyenne's premier independent music and arts series Fridays in the Asher is preparing for arguably the most decorated double-headliner billing in its eight-year history. This week, multi-Grammy nominee Matthew Santos and viral virtuoso Grayson Erhard team to blow the audience away.

Santos, known for his collaborations with Lupe Fiasco, including the 2007 smash hit “Superstar,” will make his return to Cheyenne after a brilliant performance in 2017 that was renowned by many attendees as an all-time highlight for the series.

Santos, now based in Los Angeles after years of performing in Chicago, has collaborated with numerous other noteworthy acts including Dessa, Trombone Shorty, Saba, and members of the original Broadway cast of Hamilton.

This week also marks a return to Cheyenne for Grayson Erhard, who last performed the series in 2016. Erhard saw his career skyrocket after a January 2017 video of him performing with Stevie Wonder went viral.

Fridays in the Asher is a not-for-profit, volunteer event organized by Arts Cheyenne. Each Friday's show draws from a lineup spanning a continuum of genres and hailing from all over the country. Live painting will also be featured at the show.

The show begins at 7:00 PM Friday at the Asher Building (500 W. 15th Street) in Cheyenne. Admission is $5.00.The show is open to all ages. Beer and other malt beverages will be available for purchase for people 21 and older.
