Cheyenne's premier independent music and arts series Fridays in the Asher is doing something new this week. In its the eight-year history, Fridays in the Asher has presented a wide continuum of musical genres. But they have never had electronic dance music or psychedelic funk rock, until now.

This Friday (March 8), psychedelic rockers The Jauntee, featuring members from Boston and Denver, and EDM act Linear Symmetry from Omaha, will break new ground for the music and arts series.

The Jauntee have toured the United States for nearly a decade, featuring at major festivals such as Peach Fest, Catskill Chill, and Resonance. The band has won a rabid following for their dynamic, spanning, improvisational live performances.

Linear Symmetry is quickly grabbing attention, featuring at major festivals such as Electric Forest, Sonic Bloom, 515 Alive, Dancefestopia, and others. The trio has performed along the Front Range numerous times.

The show begins at 7:00 PM Friday at the Asher Building (500 W. 15th Street) in Cheyenne. Admission is $5.00.The show is open to all ages. Beer and other malt beverages will be available for purchase for people 21 and older.
