Fort Collins Police Report ‘Drug Cartel’ Texting Scam

Police in Fort Collins say someone has been texting people and claiming to be part of a drug cartel.

That's according to a post on the Fort Collins Police Services Facebook page.

The con artist threatens people with violence unless they give the texter money.

Police say the whole thing is a scam, and that anyone who has actually given the person money should report the incident to police.
