First Cheyenne Frontier Days 2024 Parade Draws Big Crowds

The first of four Cheyenne Frontier Days 2024 Grand Parades was held in downtown Cheyenne on Saturday

While estimating crowd size for such events is notoriously difficult, it's safe to say that crowds were comparable to similar CFD parades in recent years

The first parade was blessed with what many people would consider ideal summer parade weather--sunny and warm by Wyoming standards, but not oppressively hot.

Parade-goers were treated to marching bands, floats, Native American performers, and a number of other visual displays.

The second parade is slated for Tuesday morning at 9 a.m., with additional processions slated for Thursday and Saturday in downtown Cheyenne.
