According to a fatality crash summary, 75-year-old Florida resident Martin Pegelow was attempting to turn left or northbound onto Wyoming 59 from Wyoming 387 when he failed to yield to a northbound semi, colliding with the driver's side of the trailer.

Pegelow was wearing a helmet but died from his injuries.

The trucker was not injured in the collision.
