If you are longing for a Christmas special that consists of handbells, oboe, recorders and harps, then look no farther than Cheyenne for the memories and fun.  Join the King of Glory Lutheran Church as they continue to celebrate the Advent and Birth of Christ this Christmas season.

Dr. Steven Hoffman who is the church Kantor, and the choir as they celebrate the 12th annual "The Kings Christmas Festival: A Renaissance Christmas."

They'll feature old time Christmas favorites, such as: Lift Up Your Heads, Ye Mighty Gates, Deck the Halls, and Angels We Have Heard on High and much, much more.

Before, during and after the performance, you'll be served hot Wassail Punch, a Medieval-era light stew along with the trimmings to go with it. Then afterward desert will be served.

The event is for a limited time only. Friday, December 5 & 6, 2014.

Seating begins at 6:30 p.m. and the program starts at 7 p.m. The program is about an hour and a half from start to finish. Admission is FREE.

The event takes place at King of Glory Lutheran Church - 8806 Yellowstone Rd in Cheyenne. Because seating is limited, you'll need to call the church in advance to make reservations at 307-632-1247.
