There is a little museum in downtown Cheyenne Wyoming that tells the history of the women of the old west.

Cowgirls Of The West Museum displays what is known about the fist women who came out this way, to those who fought for women's rights, as well as today's modern cowgirls. Without their stories nothing would have ever happened out here.

This little museum is a must stop for anyone visiting Cheyenne. It is free to the public.

To keep their doors open they do all they can to raise money. Next up is a luncheon with an interesting guest speaker and historian who runs another museum here in Cheyenne.

Monday, May 14, 2018
11:30 AM at the Little America.

The guest speaker will be: Michael kassel, assistant director and curator of Cheyenne's Frontier Days Old West Museum.

Please call in advance to reserve your lunch. Tickets are $20. call Kathy at 632 -2814.
