A Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities manhole project at the intersection of Ridge Road and Dell Range Blvd., which is scheduled to start Wednesday, will cause traffic delays for about two weeks or so.

That's according to BOPU spokeswoman Dena Egenhoff. She says during the project the left-hand eastbound lane of Dell Range Boulevard between Darnell Place and Ridge Road will be in effect.

The project will effect north bound and south bound traffic on Ridge Road, which will require a shift in traffic flows at the intersection of Dell Range Blvd. and Ridge Road.

Egenhoff says there will be a 10-foot width restriction as well as reduced speeds in effect to protect those working on the project.

She says motorists may want to avoid the are entirely by planning different travel routes. She is reminding those who do travel through the area to be on the lookout and drive as carefully as possible.
