Last Thursday and Friday, Cheyenne got more than 14 inches of heavy, wet snow, making it the worst late season snow storm in 74 years. By Sunday evening, most of the snow was gone, but the damage remains. Now you have to deal with the aftermath and clean up the wreckage.

The City Of Cheyenne will help. If your downed branches are too big for your container, take your tree branches to the curb (don't block traffic). Please don’t put branches in alleyways. The last day for free pick-up is Tuesday, May 30. For more information, call the Sanitation Department at 307.637.6440.

Kudos to Mayor Orr for her communication on recent issues and getting attention to events worth noting. She’s taking her position into the new age.
