Aggravated Assault Call Leads to Wanted Cheyenne Man’s Arrest
A 23-year-old Cheyenne man being sought on reckless endangerment and DUI charges is now behind bars.
According to a booking sheet, Kagen Clay Meyer Jr. was arrested at 3706 Pierce Ave. on Friday night, March 1, after a Laramie County Sheriff's deputy responding to a possible aggravated assault caught him trying to run out of the garage door.
The deputy says Meyer had a confirmed warrant out of Laramie County for failure to appear on original charges of two counts of reckless endangerment with a firearm and DUI.
Circuit Court Judge Sean Chambers signed the warrant on Dec. 12, 2023.
Meyer was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center and booked on his warrant.
Meyer made his initial court appearance on Monday morning, during which his bond was set at $3,000 cash.
