A 30-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony stalking charge after allegedly violating a protection order.

Cheyenne Man Arrested Following Stalking Investigation

According to a booking sheet, deputies with the Laramie County Sheriff's Office contacted Casey Donovan Ott at his home at 5227 Division Ave. shortly before 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, about a violation of stalking/protection order investigation.

Ott was found to have an active warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for violating a protection order.

Judge Antoinette Williams signed the warrant on Feb. 27, 2024.

Ott was arrested and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on the warrant and one count of stalking in violation of a temporary or permanent protection order, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Ott made his initial court appearance on Monday morning, during which his bond was set at $3,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for April 10 at 2 p.m.
