Home Check Leads to Cheyenne Sex Offender’s Arrest
A 28-year-old Cheyenne sex offender is facing felony charges after a firearm and an unregistered cell phone were reportedly found in his home.
According to a booking sheet, Zakary Kyle Calley was arrested at his home at 1105 Savage Dr. at 7:52 p.m. on Monday, March 25, after probation and parole received a tip that Calley might have a firearm and did a home check.

During the check, probation and parole reportedly found a firearm in a container next to a chair in Calley's game room.
Calley was convicted of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor in Wyoming on June 20, 2017, and is not allowed to be around or have a firearm in his possession.
Probation and parole also reportedly found a cell phone that they say Calley admitted to having activated and not registering with the sex offender registration office.
Calley reportedly had Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram accounts and was signed up for two dating sites, none of which he had registered.
Calley was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on a probation and parole hold and for failure to register as a sex offender and felon in possession of a firearm.
As of 2 p.m. Tuesday, he had yet to be formally charged.

Cheyenne Sex Offender Charged With 3 Felonies
Calley made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Wednesday morning on a single count of felon in possession of a firearm and two counts of failure to register as a sex offender, all felonies.
His bond was set at $3,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for April 3 at 3 p.m.
