A 57-year-old Cheyenne woman with prior convictions for drug possession is back in jail again after police reportedly caught her with drugs.

Search Warrant Leads to Meth, Fentanyl

According to a booking sheet, Natalie Angelina Taylor was arrested at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, after detectives with the Cheyenne Police Department's Community Action Team executed a search warrant at her home in the 1700 block of Meadowland Drive.

Police say during the search, Taylor was in possession of suspected methamphetamine and suspected fentanyl.

Taylor was taken to the police department for questioning and reportedly began to complain of chest pain after she was told she was going to be arrested.

Taylor was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, where she was evaluated and cleared for jail, then booked into the Laramie County Detention Center.

Taylor Charged With Drug Possession, Violating Bond

Taylor was subsequently charged with possession of a controlled substance - third or subsequent offense, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison, up to a $5,000 fine, or both, and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance in pill or capsule form, a violation of her bond conditions in a separate misdemeanor drug possession case.

On Friday, April 11, Taylor was seen in Laramie County Circuit Court on the charges.

Total Bond Set at $5K Cash

Taylor's total bond was set at $5,000 cash and her preliminary hearing and bond revocation arraignment were scheduled for Monday, April 21, at 10 a.m.

Warrant for Probation Violation

On Monday, April 14, inmate Taylor was served with a District Court warrant for probation violation signed by Judge Robin S. Cooley with the original charge being felony possession of methamphetamine.
