Cheyenne Sex Offender Charged With Failing to Register Again
A 30-year-old Cheyenne sex offender is facing a felony charge after reportedly, once again, failing to register.
The Arrest
According to a booking sheet, Jesse James Flores was arrested at 2:55 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, after he was contacted at West 24th Street and Bent Avenue.
The arresting Laramie County Sheriff's deputy says Flores had a warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for misdemeanor domestic battery.

He says Flores, a registered sex offender, also hadn't registered his residency for over 28 business days.
Flores was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked on his warrant as well as a charge of failure to register as a sex offender - subsequent violation, a felony punishable by a fine of $1,000, up to 10 years in prison, or both.
Court Hearings
The following day, May 9, Flores was seen in Circuit Court on the domestic battery charge.
Bond in the case was set at $2,500 cash or surety and his arraignment was scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, at 1:30 p.m.
On Monday, May 12, Flores was seen in Circuit Court on the failure to register charge.
Bond in that case was set at $3,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, May 21, at 2:30 p.m.
Please remember that all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
