A 46-year-old Evans, Colorado man is being held on $21,000 cash bail after being picked up on three Laramie County warrants.

According to a booking sheet, Brian Steven Lujan was arrested in the 500 block of Williams Street at 6:46 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, after a sergeant with the Laramie County Sheriff's Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle he knew to be operated by the wanted Lujan.

3 Laramie County Warrants

The sergeant says Lujan had three warrants out of Laramie County Circuit Court.

The first was for violation of a protection order and was signed by Judge Sean C. Chambers on Mar. 19, 2024.

The second was for aggravated assault and battery - threatens to use a drawn deadly weapon and violation of a protection order and was signed by Judge Thomas Lee on May 9, 2024.

The third was for attempted aggravated assault and battery - serious bodily injury and domestic battery - first offense and was signed by Chambers on Jan. 10, 2025.

Lujan was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked on his warrants.

Bond Set at $21K Cash

On Monday, Feb. 10, Lujan was seen in Circuit Court on the charges.

Bond across all three of his cases was set at $21,000 cash -- $1,000 cash in his misdemeanor case and $10,000 cash in each of his felony cases -- and his arraignment and preliminary hearings were scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 1:30 p.m.
