2 Child Molesters Picked Up in 1 Day, Laramie County Sheriff Says
Two alleged child molesters are behind bars thanks to the work of Laramie County Sheriff’s deputies.
According to Sheriff Brian Kozak, both suspects were picked up on Thursday, May 22.

First Case
“The first case was … a Mexican national who our deputies worked a case on,” Kozak said Thursday in his Sheriff’s Update.
“This person had sexual contact with a 14-year-old, and so we got the warrant issued,” he added.
Kozak says deputies had been looking for the person and found out he was in St. Louis, Missouri.
He says they reached out to the United States Marshals Service out there, and he was arrested Thursday morning.
“We will be bringing him back here for trial,” said Kozak.
“We also got an ICE hold on him, so once our case is adjudicated here (he) will be turned over to ICE to be deported to Mexico,” he added.
Second Case
Kozak says the other alleged child molester was picked up on a warrant for first-degree sexual contact with a minor.
He says the warrant was issued Thursday.
“Our deputies wasted no time, apprehended that person (Thursday), and that person is in jail,” he said. “So that’s two in one day.”
Kozak says due to state law, they can’t release the suspects’ names or booking photos until their cases have been bound over to Laramie County District Court.
Please remember that all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
