A 33-year-old Cheyenne man is facing multiple charges after a Laramie County Sheriff's deputy reportedly caught him with drugs.

According to a booking sheet, Joshua Edwin Buckles was arrested at East Lincolnway and Cleveland Avenue at 6:53 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4.

Buckles was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center without incident and booked on two misdemeanor charges, including interference with a peace officer - no injury and possession of marijuana, as well as a felony possession of methamphetamine charge.

Warrant for Failure to Appear

Later that evening, inmate Buckles was served with a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of expired registration/no insurance.

City Court Order

On Friday, June 6, inmate Buckles was reportedly seen in Municipal Court on an original charge of falsely obtaining goods or service.

He was sentenced to four days in jail.

Drug Possession Charges

On Monday, June 9, Buckles was seen in Laramie County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance - third or subsequent offense and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance in powder or crystalline form stemming from his arrest.

Buckles' bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Monday, June 16, at 10:30 a.m.
