
Cheyenne Man Accused of Assaulting Pregnant Fiancée, Her Daughter
A 28-year-old Cheyenne man is being held on a $10,000 cash bond after allegedly assaulting his pregnant fiancée and her daughter.
Protection Order Violation
According to a booking sheet, on Wednesday, March 26, a Laramie County Sheriff's deputy arrested Dewayne Xavier Walker on a Laramie County warrant for violation of domestic violence order of protection, a misdemeanor.
Circuit Court Judge Sean C. Chambers signed the warrant on May 6, 2024.
The deputy says he also arrested Walker for committing domestic battery and aggravated assault against his pregnant fiancée and her daughter, who he lives with.
Walker was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center without incident, where he was booked on his warrant.
He was subsequently charged with two counts of aggravated assault and battery, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, and two counts of domestic battery, a misdemeanor.
Bond Set at $10K Cash
On Friday, March 28, Walker was seen in Circuit Court on the charges.
His bond was set at $10,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Monday, April 7, at 11 a.m.
