
Compliance Check Leads to Felony Charge for Cheyenne Sex Offender
A 40-year-old Cheyenne sex offender is facing a felony charge after reportedly failing to report a change of address.
Sex Offender Compliance Check Leads to Felony Arrest
According to a booking sheet, Christian Michael Vosler was arrested at 3:26 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, after a Laramie County Sheriff's deputy conducting sex offender compliance checks contacted him at his home in the 3400 block of Green Valley Road and determined he'd been living at the location for approximately one month, but hadn't reported it.

Vosler was handcuffed and taken to the Laramie County Detention Center.
Search Leads to Meth
The deputy says during the search, a small baggie of presumptive methamphetamine was found in Vosler's wallet.
Vosler Charged
Vosler was subsequently charged with failure to register as a sex offender - subsequent violation, a felony punishable by up to a $1,000 fine, up to 10 years in prison, or both.
He was also charged with misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine.
Bond Set at $1,500 Cash
Vosler made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Thursday, Jan. 9, during which his bond was set at $1,500 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Friday, Jan. 17 at 9:45 a.m.
