Cowboys Basketball Game Is Special For Cancer Patients On Valentines Day
If you're a Cowboy fan and intend on making the game this Saturday, Feb 10, 2015 - you'll have the chance to help your neighbors to fight cancer. Bob Gross, who is the regional representative for the American Cancer Society visited with us on KGAB Mornings with Gary Freeman and talked about Cameco Teams for Dreams.
The group is compiled University of Wyoming Intercollegiate Atheletics, the American Cancer Society, Wyoming Community Foundation and Cameco Resources in a unique partnership to help local residents fight cancer.
You can help this weekend at the UW Cowboys basketball game in Laramie by purchasing a special winter knit cap for $20. The first 200 fans to buy a knit cap will also receive a red rose for their sweetheart.
Dreams have helped many people, to include an Alaskan cruise for a couple in Wright, Wyoming and a visit from family out of state for a woman in Green River and so much more.
So this Valentines Day, as you make your way to the game, consider buying a knit cap and helping people with cancer live a better life.
