Incumbent Cheyenne City Councilman Jeff White, a book on Wyoming basketball Legend Kenny Sailors, a local hospice nurse discussing the City Drug pharmacy license suspension and homelessness will be discussed on the Weekend In Wyoming program on Saturday.

The show runs on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on AM 650, KGAB.

Here Is The Lineup For Saturday's Show

Incumbent Ward I City Councilman Jeff White will appear at 11:05. White is running for re-election to the council, and we'll ask him about his time on  on the council, what he hopes to achieve if he's re-elected and a general discussion of city issues.

Councilman White will be live in studio. We will take questions and comments by phone at 632-6500 and 632-3323.

At 11;33 we'll chat with Debbie Sorensen about her book on Wyoming basketball legend Kenny Sailors. Sailors is credited with inventing the jump shot and led the University of Wyoming to the NCAA Men's Basketball title in 1943. Sailors is a member of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame.

At 12;05 we'll chat with a Cheyenne hospice nurse to get her take on the pending suspension of the Cheyenne City Drug resident pharmacy license. The suspension is slated to take effect on Oct. 10. We'll explore what that may mean for local healthcare providers and especially for Cheyenne-area hospices.

At 12:33 we'll talk with Christie Campbell with the Wyoming Coalition for the Homeless. Who are the homeless? Where do they come from? How will they survive the upcoming Wyoming winter? Do homeless people commit a lot of crimes in Cheyenne?

It's all scheduled for Saturday, September 21 on AM 650, KGAB!
