Cheyenne Shooting Suspect Makes Court Appearance
Bond has been set at $5,000 cash or surety for a Cheyenne man accused of shooting his roommate to death.
Authorities say 21-year-old Cody Hess shot 35-year-old Micheal Robbins to death after the two got into an argument early Tuesday morning at the home the men shared at 4401 Avenue B-2.
Robbins was renting a room from Hess's parents at the home.
Laramie County Circuit Court Judge Denise Nau also set a Nov. 22 preliminary hearing date in the case.
Hess was arrested on second-degree murder charges, but Judge Nau said he might eventually either face those charges or voluntary manslaughter as the case proceeds.
