Cheyenne Police Chief Brian  Kozak is reminding motorists to be extra careful during the current winter weather,

The chief says his officers have been busy over the past couple of days responding to weather-related car accidents in the city. He says motorists first and foremost need to slow down and pay careful attention to what is going on around them.

Kozak also says that, contrary to what some motorists believe, four wheel drive vehicles aren't invincible on ice and still need to slow down.

The chief is also reminding Black Friday shoppers to expect heavy traffic, which combined with slick roads could make for a dangerous set of conditions of people don't slow down and exercise caution.
