Cheyenne Police Investigating Business Vandalisms

The Cheyenne Police Department is trying to find out who vandalized at least three businesses in the I-25 and Missile Drive areas on April 29.

Cheyenne Police spokesman Officer Kevin Malatesta says police think at least two juveniles most likely were involved, adding the businesses had windows broken, were spray painted and had fire extinguishers set off inside.

Malatesta says the vandals also got inside the offices of two of the business and caused more damage there. They also stole items from one of the businesses. Anyone who knows anything about the crime is being asked to call the Crime Stoppers Silent Witness hotline at 638-TIPS.

People can also provide information online.

Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000. Malatesta says the caller ID system is not installed on the Silent Witness Phone Lines.
