Cheyenne police in a Facebook update at 8:52 a.m. said Ward was found safe.


Cheyenne police are asking for the public's help in finding a 13-year-old runaway.

According to a department Facebook post, Caitlyn Ward ran away from her home in the northeast part of Cheyenne around 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 14.

Ward was last seen in a red sweater.

"During the investigation, Ward’s mother suffered a medical emergency and was transported by ambulance to CRMC," the post reads.

Anyone with information on Ward's whereabouts is asked to call police dispatch at 307-637-6525 so officers can bring Ward to her mother.
