Officials with the Cheyenne VA Medical Center cut the ribbon on their new $6.6 million dollar ambulatory clinic. Cynthia McCormack, Medical Director for the Cheyenne VA says the new 22,000 square foot outpatient clinic will include 43 exam rooms and will enable them to provide more outpatient services.  McCormack says the need for services at the Cheyenne facility has steadily increased and will likely continue to increase as veteran's return from Iraq and Afghanistan. She says the clinic will include areas designated for primary care, as well as other health care services such as cardiopulmonary, patient education and mental health counseling.
