The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about the possibility of severe storms and up to golf-ball size hail in southeast Wyoming on Sunday afternoon and evening.

The agency posted this statement on it's Facebook page:

''There is an increased risk of severe thunderstorms for areas along and east of Interstate 25 on Sunday afternoon and evening. Some of these thunderstorms will become severe as they push east of Interstate 25 in the mid-afternoon hours, continuing as they move east into the western Nebraska Panhandle through early evening. Thunderstorms may contain large hail, strong gusty winds, and frequent lightning. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.''
