The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about a very high fire danger for southeast Wyoming for Wednesday and Thursday.

The agency posted this statement on its website on Tuesday:

''Fire Weather Watch has been issued for areas along and west of the Laramie Range Wednesday 11 AM – 7 PM. Elevated to Critical Fire Weather Danger again expected Thursday with headlines likely needed. Please avoid any outdoor burning in the highlighted areas."
