
Cheyenne NWS: Expect Possibly Severe Thunderstorms This Weekend
Southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle could see severe thunderstorms this weekend, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service;
The agency posted the following on its website:

Today
A 30 percent chance of showers after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph.
Tonight
A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm, then a slight chance of showers between 9pm and midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 38. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Sunday
A 30 percent chance of showers after noon. Sunny, with a high near 72. South wind 5 to 15 mph.
Sunday Night
A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm, then a chance of showers between 9pm and midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. Breezy, with a southwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest 20 to 25 mph. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Monday
A slight chance of snow showers before 7am, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers between 7am and 10am, then a chance of rain showers after 10am. Some thunder is also possible. Partly sunny, with a high near 58. Windy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 25 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
