It probably is not a huge shock for mid-April in southeast Wyoming, but the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is predicting a little bit of everything in the forecast for Saturday and Easter Sunday.
The agency posted this statement on its website:
Here's a quick look at the weekend forecast! Scattered rain showers will develop Saturday afternoon with mostly cloudy skies. Snowfall will be possible in the mountains above 7500 feet with light snow accumulation in the Snowy and Sierra Madre Ranges. Showers will continue overnight before skies clear Sunday morning. Expecting a mostly sunny day across southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle Sunday. However, strong winds look likely beginning early Sunday morning along the Laramie Range.
