The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service now says there is a chance that some areas of southeast Wyoming could see as much as 8 inches of snow with a winter storm that is expected to impacct southeast Wyoming and the Nebrasks Panhandle into Satiurday.

At last report, Cheyenne and the Summit between Cheyenne and Laramie were under a Winter Weather Advisory until 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Laramie was just slightly outside the advisory area, but westbound and southbound travelers from Laramie are likely to encounter more severe weather than what is forecast for Laramie so far.

The agency offered the updated information on the cold front shortly before 11 a.m. on Friday:
