Red Flag Warnings have been issued for the higher terrain of the Laramie, Snowy and Sierra Madre Mountain Ranges from 11am to 8pm for Wednesday and Thursday.
Vegetation remains dry in the higher terrain as only 0.25 to 0.75 inches of rainfall have fallen over the past several weeks.
Overall confidence is high on critical humidity and wind thresholds being met for the areas under the Red Flag Warnings each afternoon from 11am to 8pm.
Thursday appears to be the worst day from a fire weather standpoint as it will be the windiest and driest day as temperatures soar.
Cooler and wetter conditions will move in Friday from west to east as a front moves through the region.
