Cheyenne Man Charged After Meth Found in Mattress
A 35-year-old Cheyenne man could face up to seven years in prison after authorities found a felony amount of methamphetamine in his mattress.
Court records say Brandon Clevenger was arrested on Sept. 5 after a Wyoming trooper's drug detection dog sniffed out 18.9 grams of meth in his apartment.
The meth, which was in three small baggies inside of a clear bag, was located in a hole on the corner of Clevenger's mattress, according to an affidavit.
Along with the meth was a pipe that had meth residue inside of it.
Clevenger is currently being held in the Laramie County jail on a $3,000 cash bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 14 at 2:30 p.m.
