Cheyenne Facing Winter Weather Advisory
Cheyenne is under a Winter Weather Advisory and could get up to 6 inches of snow by 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service office in Cheyenne.
The weather service has issued the following statement:
"A cold front is forecast to move through the area this afternoon and stall over northern Colorado tonight. A strong upper level disturbance combined with overrunning moisture will produce widespread moderate snowfall to the I-80 corridor from Kimball to Laramie tonight and early Tuesday morning. The heaviest snowfall will be over the southern Laramie Range where up to 8 inches may accumulate. If travelling across southeast Wyoming tonight and Tuesday morning, be prepared for winter driving conditions and travel delays."
