A 53-year-old Burns man out on bond in a felony theft case is back in jail after allegedly committing burglary.

According to a booking sheet, the Laramie County Sheriff's Office arrested Jeremy Todd Fox at 10:08 a.m. on Saturday, Oct.18 for burglary, misdemeanor theft, driving under suspension - subsequent violations, and two counts of expired registration.

Fox was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center and subsequently charged with burglary, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.

On Tuesday, Oct. 21, Fox was seen in Laramie County Circuit Court in front of Judge Antoinette Williams on the charge.

$10K Cash Bond

At the recommendation of the state, Williams set Fox's bond at $10,000 cash, and his preliminary hearing was set for Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 2:15 p.m.

Felony Warrant

At 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, inmate Fox was served with a warrant signed by Williams for failing to comply with his bond conditions in a felony theft case from back in August, in which he reportedly stole 21 semi tires from the Fat Boys Tire & Auto at 2203 E. Allison Rd. in Cheyenne.

The following afternoon, Oct. 24, Fox was seen in Circuit Court in front of Judge Sean C. Chambers on his warrant.

"The state has filed a petition for revocation of your bond alleging that you were placed on bond Aug. 27 with charges of theft and that you violated the conditions of that bond on Oct. 18 when you committed ... felony burglary," Chambers told Fox.

$3K Cash Bond

Chambers set Fox's bond at $3,000 cash and his bond revocation arraignment was set for Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 2:15 p.m.
