Cheyenne Audubon Society Offers Free Tour of Dry Creek Conservation Area
Have you heard about the new education project at the Dry Creek Conservation area east of Cheyenne?
The Cheyenne High Plains Audubon Society is offering a free tour of the wetlands area this Saturday, October 25, starting at 8 a.m.
The Laramie County Conservation District recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Cheyenne-Laramie County Corporation for Economic Development to use the wetlands area as a center for agricultural and nature education.
The tour will be led by water specialist, Matt Ley, and participants are asked to meet at 8 a.m. at the entrance to the Sierra Trading Post parking lot, 5025 Campstool Road. The group will then continue east on Campstool to the Dry Creek Conservation area.
