Work on several bridges in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 in the Cheyenne area is slated to start on Monday, according to a release from the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT).

Lane closures and reduced speed limits will be in effect during the projects. The work is slated to be performed between the Central Avenue (exit 362) to Archer (exit 370) interchanges.

This work is the first phase of a larger milling and repaving project on the eastbound lanes of I-80 between Central Avenue and Archer. Paving work is expected to start in late July or early August, and plane closures will be in effect at that time.

This project is one of several along I-80 in Laramie County and across Wyoming this year.
