Cheyenne Regional Airport served 46,091 total passengers in 2011, an increase of 31% over 2010 and a 101% increase compared to 2009, according to Visit Cheyenne CEO Darren Rudloff. He says both American Eagle, which is leaving Cheyenne April 3,  and Great Lakes Airlines (up 20%) contributed to the increase. Rudloff says the increase shows the vitality of the local economy, as well as the general market for air service in southeast Wyoming.
