Cheyenne Man Accused of Threatening to Put Bullet in Man’s Head
A 34-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after allegedly threatening to put a bullet in a man's head.
Felony Warrant
According to a booking sheet, Michael Andrew Willie was arrested at 12:53 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11, after police came into contact with him at Brookfield Court and Osage Avenue.

Police say when they ran Willie's name, they discovered he had a warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for aggravated assault and battery - threatens to use a drawn deadly weapon, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
The crime is alleged to have occurred on or about Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025.
Police say Judge Antoinette Williams signed the warrant on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025.
Willie was handcuffed and taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked on his warrant.
Initial Court Appearance
On Monday, Jan. 12, Willie was seen in Circuit Court in front of Judge TJ Forwood on the charge.
Forwood appointed Willie a public defender then asked the state for recommendation on bond.
"There's no prior contacts with law enforcement, but what's extremely concerning is there'd been an indication of substantial intoxication and that the fact that the gun was loaded, not just with a magazine, but one in the chamber, and that a statement was said, 'If you don't take me back home, I'm going to put a bullet in your head,'" the state said.
"I think that the balance of factors also looking inside the affidavit, at least at this time, that the state would ask for a $10,000 cash only bond and some sort of alcohol testing and surrendering of any and all firearms," the state added.
Bond Set at $10K Cash
"I do believe that a $10,000 cash bond is fair," said Forwood, ordering that Willie undergo weekly alcohol testing at the Drug Testing Center of Cheyenne as part of his bond conditions.
Willie's next court proceeding will be a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 1:30 p.m.
Please remember that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
