War, nuclear war, planet killing asteroids, global flooding, Yellowstone blows it's cork. There are so many doomsday predictions, who can keep count.

For those who have money to spare, why take chances?

Many of the richest of the rich have been buying vast tracts of land all around the world. Most of this property is far away from coastal areas, in cast of flooding, and in locations conducive to self-survival, farming and coal mining.

Here in the U.S. that land includes Montana, New Mexico, Wyoming and Texas.

John Malone is one of those billionares. he is currently the largest landowner in America with 2,200,000 acres including Wyoming and Colorado.

Ted Turner now owns 2,000,000 acres in Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico and North Dakota.

Philip Anschultz has scooped up 434,000 acres here in Wyoming.

For those of us who can't afford all that land plus fallout shelters, it is good to know that we already live in the area that the world's billionaires consider "safe."
