UPDATE: “Bikini Bandit” Arrested, Charged With Armed Robbery

A teenage runaway has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Riverton truck stop Monday morning.
With the assistance of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Riverton Police were able to locate the 16-year-old girl Tuesday night.
She was questioned and charged with armed robbery.

The Riverton Police Department is looking for a "bikini bandit" who robbed a truck stop at gunpoint Monday morning.
Police say a woman wearing a bikini bottom walked into the Pit Stop Travel Center on South Federal Boulevard around 4:00 a.m., pointed a gun at the clerk, stole $300 from the register and left on foot.
The clerk described the woman as Native American or Hispanic and about 5'2" tall. The clerk also told police that a woman who matched the same description had entered the store just a few minutes prior to the robbery, but left because she couldn't pay for a package of beef jerky.
