The Badger Creek fire in Wyoming began late on a Sunday. By Monday, it had doubled in size. By Tuesday, it had doubled again.

His real name is Bryan Grzegorczyk. He likes to be called Alf. Everyone in Cheyenne, Wyoming, knows him from Alf's Pub and Thankful Thursday's, among other charity events he hosts.

Alf and his friends own a cabin getaway in the mountains, West of Laramie, Wyoming. They drove out to their cabin to get a few personal effects, since the fire was so close.

Alf and and his friend Suwanee, agreed to come on the KGAB morning radio show, in Cheyenne, to talk to me about their experiences up near the fire.
