Raised in Casper, Wyoming, I eventually gained a degree in Film and Media Studies from the University of Stirling, Scotland in 2016. After living and studying there for a little over two years, visa rules determined I would return state-side (most of the time). For several years I worked at the Casper Country Club restaurant and traveled back to the UK when able, most recently with a media internship in Dublin spring of 2018. Shortly afterwards, Townsquare Media fell into my path. My experience and interest in the multimedia field was focused on filmmaking - typically screenwriting short and feature-length films, helping on sets with students in many capacities but often as a producer or director, and at rare times putting myself in front of the camera/audience as well. I took a couple courses on radio work, and helped narrate and produce a radio doc that won the Jonathan Witchell Memorial Prize in Scotland. While radio was not something I put a lot of thought in to approaching, here we are, and it's going great. Beyond spending a little too much time watching films and television and gathering too many opinions on all of them, I'm also an avid gym-goer with a focus on boxing and dance (counter-acted by also being a compulsive baker of most anything sweet), I'm trying to take more time to practice archery with the recurve bow I acquired about a year ago, dog-sit for about a dozen people since I no longer have a furry child of my own, and don't read quite like I used to but there's always something on my list. I do what I can to keep busy.
