A family owned company, big in media, out of St. Louis Park in Minnesota, has purchased the Wyoming Tribune Eagle. What will this mean for the Cheyenne paper's editor?Upon speaking with many people throughout the capitol city, the vibe is that many have discontinued their subscription to Cheyenne's biggest newspaper.

Many have said because they are tired of the editorializing of the papers editor D. Reed Eckhardt. So with the purchasing of the McCraken Newspaper Group being purchased by APG Media of the Rockies, LLC, will this mean that a new editor will be installed?

What we do know is that the Chair of the APG, Stephen Adams, has announced that long time Cheyenne resident and WTE employee Scott P. Walker has been named the Wyoming Tribune Eagle publisher.
