Just in time for the calendar to flip to astronomical fall, we are expecting the winds to return to southeast Wyoming from their long summer vacation. A High Wind Warning has been issued for the wind prone areas plus central Laramie and Albany counties including Cheyenne and Laramie from Midnight to 3PM Saturday. Wind gusts 70-80 MPH are possible with the potential for 80-90 MPH wind gusts over the south Laramie Range! Since it's been a while for some of these areas, remember to secure loose items from the summer, and as always, use caution if travelling with light weight/high profile vehicles, including campers!
