Laramie County Commissioner Linda Heath will discuss the sixth-penny sales tax as well as the county budget on the Weekend in Wyoming show.
The sixth-penny sales tax is an optional tax that goes to the voters. This year 12 different projects are proposed, totaling $130 million. Voters will decide the fate of each of those projects individually in a November election.
We'll also hear from Dave Jenkins of Conservatives for Responsible Stewardship on what his organization thinks about the moratorium on oil and gas leases on federal land and why he thinks the current system is broken and needs to be fixed.
Cody Tucker of 7220 sports will join us to talk about his "Top 50 University of Wyoming Football Players" of all-time list at 12:05. All of this and more on the Weekend In Wyoming'' show this today [June 5] from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m on AM 650, KGAB!
